Edsger W. Dijkstra, was a Dutch Computer Scientist. His most famous works is Dijkstra's Algorithm. As a Computer Programmer he was also, known for his dislike of the goto statement in programming.

Dijkstra was a Dutch mathmatician who came up with lots of algorithms. He also wrote many papers , and a few books on computer science.

Edsger W. Dijkstra was born in Rotterdam. A dutch computer scientist, mostly known for his shortest path-algorithm, also known as Dijkstra's algorithm; also known for his low opinion on the dreaded Go To statement in computer science. Diijkstra was firm believer in Formal Verification, which is an opinion that one should write a program first then prove its mathematical correctness.
