I went to ARS Technical and found a myriad of information on thumb drives. They range in storage size and price. They are better than floppies and with a data life of ten years, you get more bang for your buck. I have never given any thought to owning one intil now. I plan to check out the features of many of these devices before buying one.
I went to ASL Technology and found there were many different flash drives available. Their capacity and price went hand in hand. With a reported data life of ten years they are better than floppy disks. I never considered buying one, but plan to research further on the subject.
Through my research of thumbdrives i found that www.usbflashdrives.org is a good sight on how flash drives have impacted the computer world, USB flash drives finally fulfill the real promise of the digital age complete freedom and mobility.
